Knitting baby hats are awesome gifts to welcome the newborn in the family. Knit a set of hats for each month of the first year of the baby and they form a nice gift set for a baby shower. These hats are easily customizable, just place a few flowers of different sizes and the fresh colors of the hat really stand out well. In this pattern worsted weight yarn is used with US 10.5 needles however you can use yarns of choice. Pattern includes instructions for hat, large bloom and small bloom, and includes directions for both knitting in the round and for knitting flat.
